I’m a Boston-based UX and product designer, with a foundation in visual design, human factors, and user research. I’m driven to innovation by a deep understanding of people, centered on their experiences, needs, and motivations.
I started my career in branding, where I developed emotionally resonant design systems that tied visual and verbal brand expression to business objectives. Clients include Massachusetts General Hospital, Williams College, the Trustees, and the city of Boston. From this work, I bring an ability to synthesize in-depth research into essential ideas, iterate quickly, and shape perception.
After getting a taste of the power of human-centered design through a web app I developed with Indivisible Somerville, I saw an opportunity to affect change with broader audiences and decided to translate that experience into a career.
Through my graduate studies in the Human Factor program at Bentley University, I’ve had the opportunity to go in-depth into complex domains such as health insurance decision making, the organization of world spices, the user's experience of remote court proceedings, and the neural pathways from signal perception to understanding.
I completed my master's in December, and I’m looking for an opportunity to solve complex problems in a highly collaborative environment.
Outside of work, I love to play in my garden, the snow, and heaps of quilting cotton.
