The City of Boston embarked on its first comprehensive cultural plan since the 1970s. Working with a variety of partners including the City, local foundations, local cultural organizations, community leaders, and a cultural planning consultant, we created the brand position, a flexible visual toolkit, and collateral to support the planning process. At the heart of the brand is a flexible system that the community can own and embrace as they define what creativity means in their lives and communities.
Over 5,000 Bostonians participated in the process, and initial results of the project include over a million dollars in arts funding for the city of Boston.
